AS 946 is a highly automated tyre changer for passenger car, racing and light transport vehicle wheels measuring from 10” to 26” in diameter (gripped at outer rim) and up to 14” in width. Solid and sturdy, it is especially suitable for intensive use. Made with high quality components and subjected to severe testing, this is an extremely reliable machine with minimised maintenance costs.
The AS 946 is available on request with a two-speed clamp (6.5 - 15 rpm) and a tubeless tyre inflation device.

The bead breaker arm allows an opening up to 410 mm, and is fitted with a stroke regulator to eliminate the risk of crushing the tyre.
The bead breaker is operated by a double-acting pneumatic cylinder made from 100% stainless steel, generating a power of 15500 N on the blade.
The turntable is an all-new design and features a mechanism
specifically developed to ensure yearsof superlative performance and
reliability.
In spite of its broad working range (10”-28”), theturntable is compact and features two different operating positions: the first from10” to 25” and the second from 14” to 28”.
The machine is equipped as standard with a dual rotation speed inverter motor system, for maximum possible torque and minimised power consumption, even at maximum operating speed.
